A few days ago, I had the privilege of supporting Rocky, Raider (🕊️), Joey, and AL from the Oxnard Community K9 Foundation at their 2nd Annual Brew, Chews, & K9 Crew Cornhole Tournament.

Sure thing, the event was more than just a fun community gathering: it was a chance to connect with our local heroes, celebrate their incredible service, and raise funds for the K-9 unit! Watching these dogs and their handlers in action is always inspiring. Their courage, loyalty, and dedication remind us of the selfless service that often goes unseen but is deeply valued.

I left the event feeling both humbled and grateful. These K9s and their handlers embody teamwork, protection, and trust; those qualities certainly strengthen our community and set an example worth following. Indeed, their example helps me be a better person and Notary Public!
