Attending the National Notary Association Conference 2026 in Orlando a couple weeks ago was more than a professional conference for me. It was a reminder of why I care so deeply about this work and the responsibility that comes with serving clients during important moments in their lives.

Indeed, one of the biggest highlights was meeting and brainstorming in person with fellow colleagues from High Performance Notary, led by the one and only Notary Coach, Bill Soroka. There is something powerful about being surrounded by professionals who genuinely want to improve, share ideas, and raise the standard of the industry together.

Without a doubt, the conversations were thoughtful, practical, and motivating. We discussed better ways to serve clients, build trust, and create businesses rooted in professionalism and integrity. As someone who values relationships and long-term credibility, those moments reminded me that success in this industry is not built on shortcuts. It is built on consistency, education, and human connection.

Another major takeaway from the conference was the continued focus on compliance and fraud prevention. Learning about emerging fraud trends, updated compliance expectations, and best practices reinforced the importance of vigilance and attention to detail in every appointment. Most definitely, clients place significant trust in notaries and they deserve a professional who stays educated and informed.

Finally, one of the most meaningful moments for me personally was seeing Laura Biewer receive the Notary of the Year award. I have taken her classes and read her books and, without a question, her educational content has genuinely helped shape me into a better notary professional.

I left the conference feeling energized, grateful, and even more committed to serving my clients with professionalism, care, and integrity. Investing in education and community is one of the best ways I can continue growing, not only as a notary, but as someone people trust with important moments and important documents.
